What do you get when you cross a love story with a cult classic?
True Love.
Easily one of my favourite movies, but better for the action, adventure, and bromance then the romantic aspects.
Princess Buttercup is weak, ineffectual, and a bit irritating in her need to be saved, while Westley is resourceful, dedicated, unwavering, and talented.
It might be “true love,” but I think he’s wasted on her.
With great catch phrases, “Inconceivable,” “As you wish,” and “Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya, prepare to die” this movie has the ability to become a running joke for weeks after watching.
The value of not giving up, being dedicated, and standing up for what you believe in.
