Their incredibly mean case worker drags them out to Ferryport Landing, outside New York City, and dumps them with a “grandmother” who they had been told was long dead.Eleven-year-old Sabrina, is older and much more suspicious then her seven-year-old sister Daphne, and is not impressed by her long-lost relatives’ cooking, house, pony-sized great Dane named Elvis, or the bizarre way there are odd books stacked all over the house. The new-found Granny Relda likes to tell tall tales, particularly in regards to how Sabrina and Daphne are distantly related to Wilhelm and Jacob Grimm, the Brother’s Grimm, their stories not being works of fiction, but were in fact case files.Fairy tales are real, and the Grimms live right in the thick of all of them. Particularly the Giant who just stole Granny Relda.I really enjoyed this book, so much so, that I decided to take on the whole series. I have high hopes for this series, but will wait till I get through it until I pass any final judgment.Impressive Book Trailer featuring the author.
