Martha Speaks: Haunted House – Karen Ross (2010)

When Mom asks Martha to deliver some flowers to a house (a house Mom and her friends had thought to be haunted as children) Martha does, through a comedy of misadventures ensues.
The Parkington’s who have just moved in think Martha is a ghost, Martha thinks she sees a ghost, and then when Helen and TD return with her – Helen ends up under a sheet as the ghost, scaring the Parkington’s for a second time.
The poor Parkington’s, who are a bit of an elderly couple, get no resolution, the story just ends. Martha, Helen, and TD get some resolution, but the Parkington’s still think that their house is haunted.
I am pretty sure that children would enjoy this book, even if I am not quite as convinced.
Based on the characters created by Susan Meddagh, based on the TV series teleplay by Raye Lankford.
