Flotsam is possibly the most beautiful book I have seen in a very long time.

David Wiesner is a phenomenal artist and storyteller, and no where is this more clear than with Flotsam.

A boy playing on a beach discovers an underwater camera in the surf.

He takes the film to be developed and discovers something remarkable.

The pictures are breathtakingly rendered.

Vivid, colourful, and absurdly detailed, this book deserves time and frequent readings.
